- City of Mesa Winter Athletic Sports are gearing up for cooler weather in the Valley. Youth Sports* programs include basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, golf and Playball, a multi-sport program that offers the perfect opportunity for kids to learn and play a variety of sports. Adult Sports programs, like flag football and kickball, offer fun social activities during evenings and weekends at Mesa's award-winning sports fields.

Customer service staff are available to assist you in the registration process at (480) 644-PLAY (7529). The Mesa Parks and Recreation "Jump In" activity guide for the fall program includes winter sports offerings at www.mesaaz.gov/youthsports and registration for Adult Flag Football and Adult Kickball will be Nov. 8-21. You can register online during that time at www.mesaaz.gov/adultsports or in person.
*Fee assistance is available for Mesa residents. To qualify, residents must send in or drop off the Fee Assistance Form, along with copies of a current Eligibility Notification Letter from Mesa Public Schools Food Service Department Free or Reduced Lunch Program. Or, they can submit a copy of unemployment verification, nutrition assistance verification, WIC Assistance verification or AHCCCS verification.
