This spring, creativity and science collide at the i.d.e.a. Museum's Mini Maker Camp and Wonder Camp. Registration is now open for both hands-on STEAM programs designed for curious children ages 4 to 9. Spaces are limited.

"This spring, busy families will delight in two wonderful camp options that encourage creativity and imagination," said i.d.e.a. Museum Education Curator Dena Milliron. "Both programs were created to support learning, encourage collaboration and inspire creative problem solving through art and science activities."

The Mini Maker Camp - for ages 4 and 5 - takes place 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. March 12-16. Young campers will tinker, explore, build, play games and create art related to the museum's Sonoran Safari spring exhibition. Problem solving and teamwork is emphasized. Registration is $65 for museum members and $80 for nonmembers. Registration ends March 4.

Wonder Camp - also taking place March 12-16 - focuses on how stuff is made and has both a half-day and full-day option. The camp features science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) projects aimed at inspiring curiosity and creativity.

The half-day Wonder Camp - for ages 6-9 - will run 8:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $65 for i.d.e.a. Museum members; $80 for nonmembers. Register by March 4.

The full-day Wonder Camp will take place 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children registered for the entire day must bring a packed lunch. Cost is $150 for members; $175 for nonmembers. Registration also closes March 4.

Spots are expected to fill up quickly. Registration links and more information: www.ideaMuseum.org/camps.html.
