June 6, 2018 at 5:56 pm

Thousands of families in our community are in need of food every day. That is why the Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom is teaming with United Food Bank to fill the Mesa Parade Fire Truck with food at this year's event Wednesday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bring your donation of non-perishable food, bottles of water or cash to the event at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre campus, 263 N. Center St.

Donations will be accepted at three entry locations: The north and south entrances on Center Street and the entrance between Mesa Public Library and Mesa Convention Center

Cash donations can also be made online at http//give.unitedfoodbank.org

Each donation gives you entry into a raffle drawing for amazing prizes, like a 55-inch flat screen TV from Spencer's TV and Appliance, an acoustic guitar and case from Milano Music and tickets from the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Rising

The 2018 Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom includes live music, patriotic displays, a naturalization ceremony, family fun, the Freedom Express trackless train, an expanded fireworks show, Revolutionary War reenactments, a Fallen Heroes Memorial and much more!
