Looking for a way to give back? You can learn about volunteering for the City of Mesa and how to get involved at a Volunteer Recruitment Fair Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Mesa Main Library, 64 E. First St., in the Youth Activity Room.
We will have volunteer opportunities from several City departments, including Mesa Fire and Medical, Mesa Police Volunteers in Police Service (VIPs), City Prosecutor's Office - Victim Services, Mesa Main Library, Mesa Arts Center, Arizona Museum of Natural History, i.d.e.a. Museum and Mesa Neighborhood Outreach. It is a great way for residents from teens to seniors give back to their community, fulfill service hours and learn different City functions.
The City has an online system to search for volunteer opportunities based on area of interest, length of time commitment and more. You can access it at www.mesaaz.gov/volunteer.
