The Mesa City Council is calling a Primary Election for July 30, 2024, to elect a Mayor and District 1, 2, and 3 Councilmembers, whose terms will expire in January 2029. Moving the primary election has also resulted in changes to other key Primary Election Dates.
Candidate Filing Period - March 4, 2024 - April 1, 2024
First day to request an early ballot - April 28, 2024
Voter registration cutoff - July 1, 2024
Early voting begins - July 3, 2024
Early voting in person ends - July 26, 2024
PRIMARY ELECTION DAY - July 30, 2024
