As part of its efforts to bring more quality dining, shopping, and entertainment options to Mesa, the City of Mesa Office of Economic Development is surveying Mesa residents, and employees who work in Mesa to determine their retail preferences and interests.

The online survey gives residents the opportunity to share their opinions regarding Mesas current retail environment and what types and brands of retail establishments they want to see in Mesa. The survey runs through Tuesday, April 30.

The Office of Economic Development will use the results to develop a retail attraction strategy.

It is important that Mesa residents and employees who work in Mesa have access to the types and brands of goods and services they desire right here in Mesa, said Mesa Economic Development Director Jaye ODonnell. Staying in Mesa to shop and dine lessens drive times and keeps sales tax dollars here in our community where those dollars fund important services our residents use daily.
