As their way of providing a safe and healthy environment for all of the good kids and their families, Santa and his elves are coming to you with a drive-thru holiday experience! Tickets are on sale for Mesa's "Drive-Thru Breakfast with Santa" Saturday, Dec. 12 in the parking lot of the Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St., at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
This special drive-thru Christmas event features a goodie bag with holiday crafts for each registered child, a to-go breakfast for each registrant and jolly old St. Nick! The brief drive-through includes the sights and sounds of Christmas to get into the holiday spirit. Each child who is registered receives an email with a letter to Santa that they are encouraged to complete and bring to the event to give to him or his elves. Then, they will receive a special return letter in the mail from Santa before Christmas.
Registration is required for Drive-Thru Breakfast with Santa. The fee is $3 per person. You can register at www.mesaparks.com.
Proceeds from the breakfast benefit City of Mesa's Community Spirit, a charitable fund raising and volunteer organization that makes Mesa a better place to live. These funds specifically support the adaptive programs, youth sports, and aquatics programming offered by the Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department. It's just one of the many ways the City gives back to their community.
