I Love Mesa Day Celebration in Downtown Mesa

Join the City of Mesa and Downtown Mesa Association Saturday, Sept. 25 for I Love Mesa Day, celebrating our community's essential workers and downtown businesses.

The event features a variety of free, family-friendly and primarily outdoor events, including two concerts, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

Downtown Mesa Farmers Market returns to its fall and winter schedule from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. along the Center Street side of the Mesa Arts Center.

Main Street and downtown activations from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. This includes special promotions, musicians, artists and other free entertainment.

Free concerts at Mesa Amphitheatre, featuring Quezal Guerrero, Michael and American rock band Young the Giant.

Free admission to the three City of Mesa museums. The i.d.e.a. Museum, 150 W. Pepper Place, and Arizona Museum of Natural History, 53 N. Macdonald will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum, 1 E. Main St., will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kids Zone from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Macdonald between Main Street and Pepper Place. The kid-friendly outdoor activities will feature carnival games, carnival rides, kids activities and entertainment.

The City is partnering with United Food Bank to place donation boxes for non-perishable food items--such as peanut butter, canned meat, fruits or vegetables, whole-grain cereal, soup, beans, rice, and pasta-- at the entrances of the i.d.e.a. Museum, Arizona Museum of Natural History, Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum, and the Mesa Amphitheatre. Cash donations are always welcome.
