April 27, 2022 at 1:18 pm

The Titan Solar Power Arizona Celebration of Freedom returns to downtown, and Mesa needs volunteers to make it the biggest and best free patriotic event yet in Arizona. The celebration has entertainment, live music, a Revolutionary War reenactment, family fun and fireworks.

Volunteers will help in various shifts and activities such as entertainment stages, family fun zones, event entrances and information booths. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age with a parent signature or 14 if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The volunteer work is mostly outdoors and is subject to inclement weather.

Volunteers will get a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last), snacks and plenty of cool drinks during their volunteer shifts. All volunteers will also be entered into a raffle to win gift cards, prizes and more. Sign up to volunteer at www.azcelebrationoffreedom.org.

The Titan Solar Power Arizona Celebration of Freedom is Monday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre, 263 N. Center St.

The 2022 Titan Solar Power Arizona Celebration of Freedom is sponsored by the City of Mesa; Mesa Convention Center; Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities; Sertoma Club; Visit Mesa; Downtown Mesa Association; 94.5 KOOL-FM; Delta Hotels; Entertainment Solutions, Inc.; Arizona Car Show LLC; AMR; HomeServe; Nesbitt Contracting; Mesa Recycles; Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and United Food Bank.
