Officers with the Mesa Police Department will be on hand this weekend at Bell Bank Park as part of the Legacy Basketball Memorial Day Classic, set to take place May 28-30 and featuring boys and girls basketball teams grades 3-11.
As part of the partnership, Mesa Police Officers will have pop up informational booths onsite from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day, as well as offering giveaways to fans and medals to winners of the boys and girls divisions. Additionally, on Monday, May 30, Mesa PD in collaboration with the non-profit Archangels will have a special presentation to honor America's armed forces history and recognize the sacrifices made by officers.
