As part of the Merry Main Street events in downtown Mesa, Mayor John Giles and several local actors will perform a live retelling of "The Man Who Killed Santa Claus"on November 25 at 7 p.m. at Mesa Arts Center. The evening will also feature musical guests and will be recorded for a future episode of the Its Always Cool in Mesa podcast, also hosted by Mayor Giles. Those attending the live event are encouraged to enjoy the Merry Main Street tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. and visit a downtown eatery for dinner prior to the performance. Everyone is invited to return to Downtown Mesa throughout the season to take part in ice skating and other holiday activities.
