Santa Claus will be taking last-minute Christmas wishes and be available for photos at Mesa's Christmas Tree, 1 N. Macdonald, Friday, Dec. 23, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 24, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. These will be his final visits to Merry Main Street in 2022 before he makes a quick trip back to the North Pole where he and the elves will load up his sleigh!
Visits from Santa are one of the many highlights of Merry Main Street. One of his best friends, Bingles, the Gnome on the Roam, will continue roaming downtown Mesa to stop at popular locations to spread holiday cheer. You can follow our adorable North Pole ambassador @CityofMesa on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up with his Main Street activities. Look for clues each week to win prizes.
The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink will be open daily, except Dec. 25, through Jan. 7 at the new Plaza at Mesa City Center, 56 E. Main St. Tickets for a specific day and session are on sale at www.merrymainst.com/icerink. A limited number of registrations will be accommodated per session.
Other Merry Main Street activities include Holiday Happenings at the MAC (Mesa Arts Center), Jack Frost's Food Truck Forest on Fridays and Saturdays at Pioneer Park and the Mesa Temple Christmas Lights through Dec. 31.
