The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink is one of the key attractions each year at Merry Main Street in downtown Mesa. The 6,006 square-foot ice skating rink at the Plaza at Mesa City Center, located at 56 E. Main St., is open for thousands to enjoy our amazing winter weather while skating under the stars.
The rink is open Mondays through Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 6. It will be open 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. The ice rink closes on Dec. 25 for Christmas.
Tickets for a specific day and session can be purchased at https://merrymainst.com/icerink/. A limited number of walk-up registrations will be accommodated per session.
Teen Skate, a special time just for teenagers to ice skate at the rink, is scheduled on Dec. 22 and Dec. 29 from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tickets are $10 and should be purchased in advance.
Merry Main Street offers lots of fun activities including free visits with Santa every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through Dec. 23, Mesa's Christmas Tree, Jack Frost's Food Truck Forest on Fridays and Saturdays, Holiday Happenings at the MAC (Mesa Arts Center), and much more.
