Mesa residents can now sign up for the City's Parks and Recreation summer programs. Registration for non-Mesa residents opens next Monday, April 15 at 8 a.m. Mesa offers programs and activities to people of all ages and abilities:
Adult sports - volleyball, including co-ed volleyball for the first time; softball; tennis; pickleball and Recess for Adults, which offers a new sport or game each week
Youth activities - tennis; a cheer clinic; scorpion hikes; playball multi-sport and a Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run event June 13 at Monterey Park
Teen activities - dodgeball night, pickleball night, tennis camps and tournaments and STEM activities
Adaptive recreation - summer camps, hiking, bulldog fitness and recreational bowling
Mesa Aquatics is offering private swim lessons for all ages as well as swim lesson classes, aquatic sports teams, Dive-In Movies and more! Other programs include classical dance, babysitting and child safety, tai chi and Dungeons & Dragons. A full list of programs and activities is available in the summer PLAYBOOK Magazine.

In-person at the Mesa Parks and Recreation office at 708 W. Baseline Road. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Registration forms are available in English and Spanish. For questions, call (480) 644-PLAY (7529). Some Mesa residents may qualify for the MRS Discount, which provides 50% off youth and adaptive programs. For more information or to schedule interviews, please email kevin.christopher@mesaaz.gov.
