Registration is underway for Mesa residents for the Mesa Parks and Recreation 2024-2025 winter season. Mesa offers programs and activities to people of all ages and abilities.
New this year are adult co-ed sand volleyball, senior softball, fleece blanket making for teens and interpretive ranger hikes for all ages. Returning winter favorites include the Jr. Suns basketball league, youth cheerleading clinic, youth Playball multi-sport, adaptive cheerleading and after school programs. Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of special interest classes like belly dance basics, gymnastics, Lego Roboteering, Zumba Kids, Tai Chi and dog manners. All of these popular activities are the perfect way to keep families active while having fun. Non-residents can begin registering on Monday, Oct. 14 at 8 a.m.
