The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development announced expand access to Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios, 59 E. First St., which will begin offering regular open hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, effective Sept. 2.
Businesses and entrepreneurs are welcome to drop in and utilize collaborative lounges, huddle spaces, and individual workstations without the need for a reservation. Reservable spaces - including meeting and conference rooms, private offices, the AR/VR studio, digital development zones and the podcast studio - will continue to be available on a first-come, first-served basis when not already booked.
"By removing the requirement to reserve space in advance, we are reducing barriers and creating a more accessible, flexible and collaborative environment for Mesa entrepreneurs and small businesses," said Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman. "This model allows users to drop in as needed, supporting productivity, creativity and innovation on their own schedules."
The Studios' mission is to provide a professional, collaborative workspace designed to help businesses grow and succeed. The new open hours represent another step forward in making this vital resource more convenient and impactful for the community.
"Small businesses are the heartbeat of Downtown Mesa, and the Mesa Business Builder has become a vital resource for entrepreneurs," said Councilmember Jenn Duff. "With more flexible hours, our small business community can access the tools and support they need whenever inspiration strikes."
The City of Mesa invites all members of the business community to explore Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios and take advantage of the resources available to support their journey toward success.
